There has been lot of discussions about Artificial Intelligence and its role in Software Testing as well as how to test Artificial Intelligence systems. I decided that I should do a podcast with someone who is deeply involved with AI & Testing, so I spoke to Adam Leon Smith, who is a Chief Technology Officer of a company that deals with AI & Testing.

In this podcast, Adam Leon Smith and me talk about AI (Artificial Intelligence) and its role in Software Testing. We discuss several related topics like bias, ethics, reduction of testing workforce, scope of AI-based automation, etc. I strongly recommend that you listen in!

As with any technology that’s finding its way mainstream, there’s skepticism and condemnation of AI making its way into Software Development and Software Testing. While there are concerns which are very valid, there’s also some concerns and fears that need to be put to rest on the usage of AI technology. While the lines are really blur, there are some areas that are clearly no-no from Software Testing perspective, and there are some areas which are just waiting to be explored and instrumented for a long time now, test exploration path decision and regression, for example.

Watch that video and let us know your opinion on what you think in the ‘Comments’ section of the video. Adam or me will respond back. If you like this video, please mark ‘Like’ there. Also, don’t forget to subscribe to this channel to get updated on the future videos on AI and trending technologies.
